Customer Focused

Make it matter
Customer Focused
You have customers. Customers that want prompt, courteous and efficient service. The same service levels apply to you that you apply to others. If you are in HR, the whole organization is your customer. If you are in IT, business users are your customers. If you are front-end CSR then you have end users as your customers.

You get paid to be productive, to contribute to the growth of the business and to keep your customers happy. Personal growth and job satisfaction are severely impacted if your customers are unhappy with your output. At the end of the day - if the customer is unhappy, nothing else matters. Make customer service a priority.

Although coming from an unlikely source, some pertinent words of wisdom from Mahatma Gandhi -
"Who is a customer? The customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption of our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business, he is part of it. We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing us a favour by giving us an opportunity to do so."
